Spotlight of the week: Vito

Vito's been one of my favourite's for quite a long time, but only recently has he started to make a name for himself.

Some Quick Information
His real name is Vito LoGrasso and he's born in an Italian neighbourhood in Brooklyn, NY on June 18th 1969 (which means he's currently 37 years old).
He's wrestled for the ECW, WCW, WWE and TNA. He's held the WCW hardcore title once and the WCW tag-team titles twice.
He started his career at the Johnny Rodz School of Wrestling alongside wrestlers like Taz and Tommy Dreamer.
He started in the WWF early but soon had to move on to other companies because they didnt have room for him at the moment.
In WCW he formed the successfull tagteam "The Mamalukes" along with Johnny "The Bull" Stambolini.
He debuted (for the second time) on Velocity, August 2005, when he helped out Nunzio so that he'd win the cruiserweight championship.
After Nunzio moved on to ECW, Vito started his solo-career on Smackdown as the tough guy that wears a dress. Bringing humour into the wrestlingmatches. So far he's undefeated.

10 reasons to like Vito:
10. He wears a dress - yeah, i actually find that kinda cool
9. He's funny to watch
8. He's Italian - come on, we all love italians.
7. He's dedicated to WWE and does whatever they tell him. Even wears his dresses out in public to stay with the character. Or is it a character? ;)
6. He wins all the matches so you can easily bet with your mates on his matches
5. He gives money to charities
4. He has a great physic
3. He is an awesome wrestler
2. He cares about his fans and spends time talking to them
1. Did I mention he's the toughest man to ever wear a dress? :p

Kurt Angle released

ECW-superstar Kurt Angle got an early release from his contract this week. The reason was said to be "due to personal issues". In an interview with WWE.com, Angle said: "My body is so beat up and run down, I can't even think straight."
Even though he leaves now, the door is always open if he decides to come back.

From what he tells WWE it doesnt seem like he really has no choice but to quit wrestling for a while. It's a sad day for all of his fans.

I'll finish this post with his last words for his fans:
"Don't be concerned, this move was for the best. It was a privelege to be able to compete for all of you. I'd like to say thank you."

Kaiza's Summer Slam Predictions

It's that time of the year again and here's my thoughts and predictions on the different matches that is due to happen this sunday:

WWE-Champion Edge vs John Cena
Edge sucks as champion... He's not that good. John Cena's not good either but the management likes him so he'll probably win this one. After all he needs to promote his new movie: The Marine, which actually looks rubish..

World Heavyweight Champion King Booker vs Batista
Duh, this one's pretty obvious. The animal wants his title back and there's no greater night to get it back on than on summerslam. Hopefully this will make King Booker a bit more humble. We're all pretty fed up with those "all hail king bookah," chants.

D-Generation X vs The Mcmahons
DX wins. They've lost to Vince and Shane the last two weeks (because of Umaga) so it' time to get revenge.
Orrr something weird happens and causes DX to break up since rumours are already spreading about the days of DX being over.

Hulk Hogan vs Randy Orton
I'm a fan of Randy Orton. He's a very talented wrestler. Hulk Hogan I feel is a bit overrated. He's not that good at all. But can WWE really risk letting Orton "kill" the legend of their biggest star? I don't think so. Even though as much as I hate saying it: I think Randy's gonna lose this one.

Mick Foley vs Ric Flair ("I Quit" Match)
Mick loses, no explanation to this one, just the way I think it'll be.

Rey Mysterio vs Chavo Guerrero
Like I've said before, I don't like the storyline to this match. The whole, "bringing Eddie back again" story. I don't really have an idea here but I've got a feeling this match might end with Reu as the winner.

ECW World Champion Big Show vs Sabu
I don't care much for the whole ECW crap. Big Show's a boring (and agressive) champion. Sabu's probably gonna win it.

So how excited am I really about this? Meh.. the dx-match may be fun. And the Orton/Hogan match is of course a must see.
Batista with the belt around his waist again is also something that will be good seeing again.

Carlito being right where he belongs

He finally got a shot at the title currently held by Edge during Monday night RAW. Unfortunately he didnt win the match but still good.

I think he has shown a lot of progress during the last six months and has become a good challenger to the title.
Lately we've only seen him along with Shelton Benjamin and Johnny Nitro struggling for the Intercontinental belt, which has been back and forth for a while.. (currently Nitro has it)

Carlito is also involved in a little love-story at the moment with one of WWE's hottest diva's, Trish Stratus.

It's all really Cool ;)

Spotlight of the week: Ken Kennedy

Kaiza just recently started to like this wrestler.

Some quick information:
He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, March 6th 1976. His favourite wrestler is Stone Cold Steve Austin which he also named his dog after..
His real name is Ken Anderson and he wrestled under that name when he first debuted in WWE August 13th 2005 at Velocity.
He was trained by Eric Hammers and Mike Krause.
He has wrestled in a lot of companies like All-Star Championship Wrestling, Mid American Wrestling, NWA Midwest, UPCW and Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling.

Ten reasons to like Mr Kennedy
10: He's been training martial arts
9. He has attitude
8. He takes his mother with him on tour (I think that's kinda cute)
7. He's got good looks ^_~
6. Has still left to become wwe champion. Something to look forward to that means.
5. He's good on the mic. Even got an award for it.
4. He's got an awesome finisher
3. He does his own ring introduction
2. He makes Smackdown! worth watching again
1. He's a hell of a good wrestler

Big Show gets aggressive

(From now on this blog will be in English. At least for a little while)

According to prowrestling.com , Big Show became quite aggressive towards the fans at an ECW houseshow last saturday in Elmira.
He yelled at the fans and challenged them to go against him, prove they were good enough. He even spit on a fan who were teasing him before security came in.

Can't be easy being the Big Show now, so I kind of understand the poor man. I mean, to go from respected superstar in RAW to champion that nobody actually care about in ECW must be tough.

La Eddie hvile i fred

Allikevel lever minnet hans fremdeles i WWE.

Nyhetsoppdatering

På tide å oppdatere denne bloggen. Her kommer et lite sammendrag over et par nyheter fra sommeren.

Ashley skadet
Men hun holder iallefall motet oppe. Som hun selv sier i bloggen sin på mySpace: "Speed bumps my friend speed bumps... annoying yes...will they stop me...no. Hell no!"
